This tour lets you touch nature! Join us in this great adventures into our wetlands, you will enjoy flora and fauna of deciduos lowland jungle.

We drive on tollroad for 30 minutes and then we take a dirty road that leads us to the sea turtle research camp (seasonal) where marine biologist Daniel Rios Makes big efforts of preserve endangered sea turtles, his team collects turtles eggs up and incubate them until hatch, this camp releases thousands of hatchlings every year. You will have the chance of releasing your baby turtle into the sea of cortez.

Tour keeps going until reaching “Tapo Avion” fishing union, it’s a large lagoon considered an important natural breeding place for shrimp. Union fishermen will sail you on their boats into brackish water channels to observe American cocodriles (c.acutus) in their natural habitat, being this specie the most  attractive in this ecosystem.

This lagoon has been untouchable thanks to fishermen union protection.

This is an excellent habitat for watching snow birds and natives birds among them are roseate spoon bill, wood stork, white pelican, herons, ibis, whistling ducks, cormorants, anhingas, crested cara cara. Laughing falcons and more. You will love it.
